With the help of research from space, which are already been long ago, Egyptian and American scientists from the University of Alabama are trying to determine the location of temples and tombs of rulers that are mentioned in historical documents. The resulting high-quality pictures from space of the country are helping to accelerate the search for hidden sites, experts note.
As stated in this connection, the head of the Higher Council for Egyptian Antiquities Zahi Hayashi, the project using aerial photography remote sensing and ground-based laser development maps and three-dimensional models have been able to set limits of the ancient city of Hapu, which was the same temple, participate in the construction of which Several pharaohs.
