- Technical secondary education:
Technical education acquired within a three-year and five-year program to provide schools that specialize in three different areas: industry, commerce and agriculture.

-Secondary Education:
The course of general secondary education is three years and includes natural and human subjects: Arabic, English, second foreign language (German, French, Spanish or Italian), chemistry, physics, biology, geography, history, philosophy. The second and third year introduces the major: natural sciences, or humanities, or mathematics.

-Education system Azhar (religious)
Religious education is the responsibility of the Supreme Council of the Institute of Al-Azhar. The Council itself is formally independent from the Ministry of Education, but under the supervision of the Prime Minister of Egypt.

Azhar schools are called institutions, and include primary, preparatory and secondary education.

In all schools at all stages of exploring the non-subjects, although not as active as in public schools. Nevertheless, the basis of the calendar represent religious subjects. All the Muslim students, boys and girls learn separately. Azhar schools are distributed throughout the country, especially in rural areas. Graduates of these schools can continue their studies in Al-Azhar University. In the early 2000’s at the school Azhar accounted for less than 4% of the total number of students.

In Egypt, there are both private and public institutions of higher education. Public higher education in Egypt is free, students pay only the registration fee. Private education is more expensive. Major Universities:
